MuraLove

Students' project.

Our first thought was: maybe we can do something about street-art in Kraków?

So we used the design thinking technics to make it happen.

Let me show you our steps below.

Robić notatki

Stage 1:

Empathize

To research our potential users' needs we did virtual ethnography and interviewed street-art artists, citizens and city councilman. They all had different point of view, but we were able to draw common conlusions.

Stage 2:

Define

We used a card sorting method to divide gathered information into groups. Later, we were able to define our main goal: 'How can we make Kraków a street-art friendly place?'

Stage 3:

Ideate

During the brainstorm we were trying to find the best solution possible to our problem. The most common words that we were saying were: 'Cool, write that down'

Stage 4:

We decided to prototype a website for connecting street artists with people who want to make their buildings more colorful. Artists post their projects and on the other hand, if someone has an empty garage wall, he can search on the website for perfect mural and get in touch with the artist.

Stage 5:

Test

We decided to test our prototype with our collegues from University. We were observing them using the website and listening to what they were saying about their feelings towards it.
